TIP: Cleaning Fruits and Vegetables with Vinegar

My Grandma always did ...
Mom also always does ...
And I always do too!

We always cleaned our fruits and vegetables with vinegar ...
Modern life can even tell me that we should use chemicals market products, that it is safer, this and that,
but I continue with her lessons.
After all, it worked. Otherwise, I would not be here to tell this story.

Wash your fruits and vegetables under running water.
Fill the sink with water, add a cup of vinegar and mix.
Add all fruit and soak for about 10 minutes.
The water will be dirty and fruits will be clean and shiny.

If you do not want to use the sink, use bowls to soak the fruits.

Wash strawberries, but do not remove the stems. Do it right before you eat.
I do this and they last longer than 1 week!

Fruits like kiwis and peaches, may be washed and cleaned right before you eat them. Otherwise, they will spoil faster.
