A while ago I saw on some website, a recipe for chicken thighs seasoned with tangerine.
I tried to find the recipe and guess what? Never found it again.
Then, my husband came home with a huge bag of tangerines that I would never be able to eat them before they all spoil.
Then I remembered this recipe and so I ventured. If I can spice chicken with lemon, with vinegar, with orange ... why not use tangerine, right ?
500 grams of chicken drumstick
1/3 xic. chopped parsley
3 cloves garlic, grated
300ml of fresh tangerine juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Clean and wash the chicken and let it soak in lemon juice for about 20 minutes.
In a bowl, prepare the marinade, mixing the remaining ingredients.
Wash the chicken again, drain to season the drumsticks in the marinade. Cover it and put in the refrigerator for one day to another.
Remove the chicken from the refrigerator at least 1/2 hour before baking.
Preheat oven to 180°C/360°F.
In a baking dish, tuck the drumsticks, cover with the marinade and bake for 45min to 1 hour.
Serve with white rice, farofa and roasted potatoes.
