This is another alternative for those who do not have the bags.
"In a tall container that can go in the microwave, place 5 tablespoons of popcorn, 5 spoons (soup) of water and salt (I used 1 teaspoon). Stir well, cover with plastic wrap and drill 4 holes to release steam (use the tip of a knife or scissors to do it.) Bake in microwave at full power. Ideally, the container is glass because the film will not adhere to plastic and popcorn will fly throughout the oven.
Now *** attention because every microwave is different. I needed 6 minutes on mine. Only after 4 minutes began to pop the popcorn, and then 2 minutes were all burst. Hardly got anything without bursting.
