Orange & Spice Tea

Yep, Autumn is definitely here ...
and with it , the chilly days.
And as I had plans for today that were changed at the last minute , I decided to enjoy the day like " Me, Myself and Irene ", which in my case, Irene is this tea.

I must confess that I have this tea at home, but to get a reasonable taste, I have to use 2 bags to 1 cup. So today, I decided to try it totally natural to see the difference ...
H.U.G.E. !!!
The natural is sooo, but sooooo much better !!!
A wonderful taste and the smell perfumes the whole house ...

500ml water
2 orange slices fresh (or dried )
5 cloves
2 cinnamon stick
2 star anise
Brown sugar to taste

In a small pan, mix the water with the orange and spices.
Turn the heat and Simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn off heat and cover the pan for about 10 minutes.
Strain and serve.

Sweeten to taste and to give a charm, decorate with the ingredients that were in the sieve.

You can add a shot of Orange Liqueur to your tea, for the colder nights.

Another suggestion is to make jello with this tea ...
12 g unflavored gelatin , hydrated and melted 500 ml of hot tea and sugar to taste.
Yummy !
