Roasted Butternut Squash

Fall has arrived and Pumpkins are the Big Stars of the Season !

You can find them everywhere in the northern hemisphere and therefore all the beautiful delicacies that have them as the main ingredient.
You can find soups, side dishes, sweets, teas ,breads, juices.
Recipes, recipes and more recipes.

This is a super simple one and extremely delicious !

Mouthwatering !

1 butternut squash
salt
pepper
nutmeg
olive oil

Preheat oven to 200ºC / 400ºF.
Wash the squash with a brush, under running water.

Trim the top and cut it in half vertically.
Remove seeds and rinse quickly.

Sprinkle the halves with a pinch of each dry ingredient.
Drizzle with a little olive oil.

Wrap in foil, like small boats, leaving space within the packages to contain the steam.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Open the paper carefully, stick a fork in the thickest part to test for doneness.

Serve as a side dish to red meat and poultry.

Do not peel it before baking!
It will provide support and will not let the squash apart after the cooking process ... and that will give a special charm when you serve the dish.
